ABOUT THE INSTITUTE OF ORGANIC CHEMISTRY


    The Institute of Organic Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of the Ukraine - the leading scientific centre  in
the Ukraine, was founded in 1939.
The scientists of the Institute carefully preserve and increase the scientific trends and traditions set up by outstanding scientists, Academicians of the Academy of Sciences of Ukr.SSR V.P.Yavorskii, V.G.Shaposhnikov, A.I.Kiprianov, E.O.Shilov, A.V.Kirsanov, L.N.Markovskii.
     The staff of the Institute consists of 200  research  workers and 85 representatives of office and  management  personnel.  The staff of the Institute's Pilot Plant consists of 150 workers.

OF PRACTICAL VALUE are the following directions of the research performed at the Institute:
The production potentialities of the Institute's Pilot Plant provide for manufacturing the products of fine organic synthesis from 100 g to 100 t depending on the end purpose.
