The proposal of co-operation in scientific
and technological information exchange.
Dear Sirs.
International charity foundation for history and development of computer
science and technology (ICFCST) Kiev, Ukraine was established in 1993 by
Ukrainian, Russian and Belorussian scientists as non-governmental, non-profit
organization. One of its purposes is activating of the process of computerization
of Ukrainian society.
ICFCST efforts are directed toward making the data collected by Ukrainian
scientific institutes, non-governmental organizations available for wide-spread
use in industry, scientific research and education.
Using ICFCST data and electronic networking capabilities scientists,
analysts, educators and others can find partners for joint investigations,
request and obtain data and information about Ukrainian scientific and
technological organizations, personalities of scientists, publications
in scientific journals, identificate existing data bases in different fields
of investigations, and so on.
Our partners are more than hundred Institutes of National Academy of
Sciences of Ukraine, Ukrainian Academy of Sciences for National Progress,
Educational organizations and many others.
To carry out its mission ICFCST is building an organizational
and technical infrastructure that allows Internet users all over the world
to get free access to information about numerous databases in different
Ukrainian organizations.
ICFCST Administrative-Technical Center coordinates and provides work
on regional network creation, identificates data sets and data collections
worth attention, signs agreements with owners that regulate the rights
of access to data and their electronic dissemination.
