The goal of the project is the creation of a distributed information archive, methodological, software and technical tools to provide weapons scientists and engineers in Ukraine opportunities to gear their talents to peaceful activities, to the solution of urgent national and international problems and strengthening of the scientific research and development capacity of Ukraine by providing access to major international data archives and resource centers as well as an electronic mechanism for disseminating information on national data to the worldwide community.

The distributed informational database to be created will consist of information about data as well as data itself and will give the majority of users of the future information network the opportunity to exchange data.

In the course of the project implementation new information technologies shall be introduced in scientific institutions of Ukraine as well as to the world community will get access to new, sometimes unique data of investigative. As a result of this project information about numerous databases in various Ukrainian organizations will be freely accessed via the Internet.
